Rayla is an affectionate sweetheart! As you can see from her photo, she often shows her tongue which takes on the appearance of a little heart. She has plenty of energy and likes to chase squirrels. Rayla is loving, gentle and mellow and gets along with people and other dogs. She is 9 years old, spayed, up to date on her vaccinations and is ready for her forever family. Rayla had one eye removed in 3/16 due to primary glaucoma, an eye condition in dogs which eventually may lead to the other eye needing to be removed, as well. At this time the pressure in her remaining eye is good and it is not necessary for her to be on drops for that eye. The pressure in her eye will need to be checked periodically. Rayla had a bladder stone removed recently and is taking daily cranberry supplements as a preventative. Rayla's preference would be to live in a home with one other dog. She currently is in a loving foster home where there are many dogs and she would prefer having just one dog pal.
