Finley D2335, Basset Hound mix, male, 1 yr. old, 37 lbs, dark tan/white

Finley was rescued from Hayward Shelter on 4/8/09.  He was scared when he was caught as a stray, and once at the shelter, he remained timid.  Once he settled and felt safe, he showed that he was actually friendly and playful.  Good with other dogs, (not tested properly with cats yet), loves treats and affectionate.  He loves toys and brisk walks/jogs.  He is a soulful guy who can be insecure of new places/person, but recovers quickly with positive reinforcement, kind leadership, treats and happy voice.  He loves attention and will give you kisses.  Need leash (strong puller) & basic training.  Another dog may help him feel safer. Experienced and active adult home.  Kids 14 yrs+.  More info. to come as we learn about him.
