ADOPTION PENDING - Lucy is a petite 42 lb tri color basset with beautiful expressive eyes and gorgeous long ears. Her tails wags the minute you look at her and when you come near her she will roll over for you to rub her tummy. She gets along well with children and other dogs and loves to bounce around and play like a puppy with them. Lucy can also be shy and may think you will hit her if you move too quickly as she came to from a very bad situation and was in very poor health. However even though shy her little tail will wag and she loves you right away, if she feels safe. She is working on her potty training and doing very well, as she was an outside dog. Lucy will curl up in her dog bed or lay by your side. She knows how to sit,loves to ride in the car and to go on walks. All who see her say how beautiful she is and she is not even up to her full potential yet with her looks. She has been spayed and will undergo surgery for a mammary tumor. She will be ready to go to a new home when this is finished. The longer she is with her foster home the more her personality is coming out and she will make a wonderful addition to any home.
