This is 8 year old, 50 pound Casey, the basset mix! Casey is a wonderful, charming, confident dog who is a social butterfly. She gets along great with other dogs AND cats. Her friendliness really seems to know no bounds. She loves people and, while I haven't had a chance to test this yet, I feel she'd be wonderful with kids of all ages too.

She is good on a leash and loves walks and the dog park. She is something of an escape artist (because she likes to roam around and meet new people!) so a secure fence is a must.

Casey relaxes easily and loves to cuddle up with you on the couch or burrow under the blankets at night to keep you warm. She would make a fantastic family pet. I think she would also be a wonderful travel companion since she loves adventures and is good in the car, both in and out of a crate.

Whoever is lucky enough to adopt Casey will be blessed with a thoroughly enriched life!
