Nice youngster in Orland, CA

They say one picture is worth a 1,000 words and with 3 pictures as you can see of this adorable boy, I could write a bio that would fill pages telling everyone how sweet, kind and gentle (well you get the picture) our Linus is. Not a nicer temperament will you find, Linus is one happy, playful Basset puppy, a charmer that will steal your heart and have you wrapped around his chubby paws in no time flat !! Linus was an owner surrender due to a divorce and a move to where he had to live too many hours in a crate. Now he is in the market for a home where he can run and play all day and a family that will dote on him. Linus is appx. 61/2 mos., weight 37lbs., needs to gain a few lbs., neutered, current on shots, complete vet exam, wormed and on heartworm prevention. Linus is great with other dogs. He is a totally non-alpha (a real push-over), so will need a gentle doggie pal that plays nicely and shares toys. He would also be fine as the only dog. He lived with a cat with no problem. He is great with kids, but prefer a home with children 5 or over, that are use to a rambunctious youngster. Linus is leash trained, loves car rides, crate-trained and is said to be almost housebroken. He will only be adopted into a home where one person is home most of the time and can continue his training and devote the time, love and attention to him he so deserves. Prefer a home that is familiar with this breed, or hounds. REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION: Inside dog. Secure fenced yard for playtime. Approved home only.
