Cowboy was an owner surrender, given up because he nipped at the kids when food was involved.  At his age I'm not surprised.  The owners wanted to euthanize him but one of the vet offices he asked to do the deed instead persuaded him to give the dog to Rescue.  Cowboy went to stay at a posh Pet Resort in Sacramento, and the kennel staff have seen no sign of food aggression or any type of aggression... in fact he has done so well that one of the staff have fallen in love with him and now plans to adopt him.

What a happy ending for Cowboy!
