Ms. Mae, as she is called by her foster family, is a very quiet lady who spends most of her day snoozing on the couch or blanket. She has a kind personality that is friendly, loving, and gentle. She loved to be petted and scratched while she snoozed next to you on the couch. Ms. Mae is excellent on a leash and loves to go for leisurely strolls around the neighborhood.  She is most animated at breakfast and dinner time where she gives big wags and dances around excitedly in anticipation of her meal. Mae LOVES her food and will eat until the cows come home, so her food needs to be closely regulated.

Mae is potty trained but due to her age she needs to be let out occasionally during the day. She would do best in a house that leaves her alone for only about 5-6 hours. Mae absolutely LOVES baths and relishes the feel of the shower on her face, which is a sight to see. Ms. Mae was adopted by her original foster home (she is that sweet), but they had to give her up due to an unexpected change in their lease. Her adopted parents did not want to give her up so it was a very sad goodbye when she had to leave and go to her current foster home. She is just looking for a quiet place where she can lay her head on a blanket and live out her golden years. Can you be her furever home?
