Rox was originally taken in from the Hanford animal shelter and placed with Golden Empire Basset Rescue.  He was found running loose at the Hanford Fair Grounds.  He is microchipped and his owner was contacted and said he did not want him back.  He had given him away when he was around a year old and did not want him anymore.  No info on his last owners, but he has been with Golden Empire for several months now and no one has tried to find him.  Poor guy...

Rox is fairly vocal and has quite a bit to say about his current condition.  He is a mellow boy otherwise and gets along with other dogs of all sizes and loves children.  He has not been tested with cats.
