Floyd is a sweetheart, he loves to snuggle up next to you on the couch, and if there's a blanket around he wants to be under it too! Pretty much wherever you go, Floyd is right there with you. He has the energy of a dog half his age. Playing fetch, and being chased around is #1 on his list of daily activities. He also loves to go on car rides, and walks/hikes. He does extremely well on a leash, and off leash he will walk right next to you with very little wandering... which is amazing for a hound dog as you know!
 
He get's along with all dogs, big and small. In fact, I've seen dogs be nasty to him and he just walks away. Floyd's a very tolerant and gentle boy. Same thing with kids; although I would say that Floyd would prefer kids old enough to play fetch and chase him. He would be in heaven! 

Floyd is ready to go to his forever home.  He is microchipped, neutered, housetrained and up to date on his vaccinations.
