George has all the traits that other bassets wish they had. If you've been smitten by his "Georgeous" good looks, then you should know that this gentleman is the whole package. George has beautiful house manners, is fully house trained, knows how to use a doggie door, and walks nicely on a leash. He knows basic commands and has a rocket recall. He is healthy, microchipped, neutered, and fully vaccinated.

George is loving and affectionate and likes to be with his 'person'. George is quiet and calm, friendly to adults, children, and good around other dogs. He does tend to be very excited about treats and can "take" a little finger with the treat, so older children would be best. He is curious about cats, but we are not sure how he would be with them. He would do best with another, friendly, dog in the home.

George loves to go for walks and the spring in his step belies his age of 11 years. (He will be 12 in September). He likes to be with you and will follow you around or lay at your feet, but doesn't like loud noises or mops, brooms, and Swiffers, but I know several women who don't like those either! George is easy to care for and easier to love. Let this lovely gentleman show you just how wonderful he is.
