Bear came into GGBR, surrendered along with his sibling, Fred, having been surrendered by a man who took them in following the eviction of their owner from his property. Originally it was believed that  Bear and Fred should be kept together. However, Fred became aggressive with Bear and it was necessary to separate the two for their safety. 

Bear is an easy going, gentle, friendly, healthy  fellow who will be very happy being the companion of a single man.
