Zoey and Lucy, a bonded pair, were surrendered to GGBR by their owner after the owner's life situation changed following the birth of her baby and a move to non-dog housing became necessary. The owner had obtained both dogs when they were puppies and she had taken very loving care of them. Zoey is in good health although she has had an issue with skin yeast infections and the condition of her anal glands requires frequent expression. Lucy has no health issues. Both hounds are happy and friendly and get along with everyone. They are up to date on all their vetting and are housetrained.

A foster adopt home, that of Leo Simon, took in these dogs, and they immediatley fell in love with them, basically considering them their dogs. They have obtained the vetting necessary for these dogs to be adopted and an adoption will be moving forward.
