Sweet Millie is patiently waiting for her forever home to surface. She wants you to know that she has not had a permanent home for much of her life and she wants to be settled with a family that will truly love her.
Millie is a happy, lively, nimble houndie who enjoys scampering about. She also loves to lounge indoors and if given a choice she would prefer just to snuggle with her people on their laps and on in their bed. She is sweet and affectionate. Millie does not like to be left alone(does any basset?) and originally would whine when left. Now that she is bonding with the other dogs, the whining has diminished significantly. This slender, clean little gal is housetrained, sleeps through the night, has a short coat that doesn't shed much and is in good health. She is not particularly food oriented, not grabby with treats, and does not counter surf. Millie would do best in a home with adults or older children, no cats, and where the yard is secure (because she is an escape artist!). She would be happiest to be in a home where someone is home most of the time. Millie is scheduled for a dental on 2/3/19 Special Needs: No other dogs nor cats or small animals. |
