Barney got off to a challenging start in foster care, having some resource guarding issues around food, wanting all the attention, and being growly with other dogs. He has settled down some in his initial foster home but not before the foster requested that he be moved to a home where there are no other dogs. A plea for a dogless foster home was sent out and one home responded immediately, that of John Litz and family. With Barney's veterinary care already completed, the Litz family decided that they would adopt skip fostering Barney and adopt him immediately upon his placement with them on 3/31/2019. 

Special Needs: Would do best as a dog in a home with no other dogs.
