Bailey is a fun-loving Basset Hound.  She is spry, happy and a true best friend.  She enjoys going for walks to the park where she can run, play and smell all of the different smells the park has to offer.  Bailey does not mind her cat house-mates, although she prefers to play with other dogs.  There is nothing more satisfying in Bailey's world than a session at the Dog Park or doggie play care.  Bailey will sit, shake and lie down for a *treat*, but be careful not to say that word unless you are prepared to offer her one.  Bailey is a true hound and loves to follow her nose, but not into the water; she does not enjoy swimming or sprinklers. Bailey is an all season dog; she loves to frolic in the fall leaves and bury her nose in the winter snow (that is when she takes a trip to the snow).  Bailey is your best friend because she wants to be with you, she does not like to be left behind.  She is always willing to do what you want to do; ride in the car, take a walk, work in the garden, or be a couch potato and watch movies. Bailey DOES NOT do well with small children so would be better suited for a non child or older children household.
