Active 2yr old still very much a puppy and in need of a family willing to train her

Ruby is a sweet 2 year old spayed female from the Santa Cruz area whose owner was unable to keep her. She is a very active and anxious dog, with some separation anxiety. She is good with dogs and kids, but has not been tested around cats. She loves walks, belly rubs and thinks she owns the couch. She does needs some basic training and a family who can provide the comfort of a calm stable environment. She is heart worm negative and current on vaccinations.  She is 95% housetrained but slips up occasionally.

She would make a great family dog, who would get along with other dogs and kids if she had them to play with. If she was to go to a single person, it would be best if the adopter was home a lot or could take her with them, especially while she is so young.
