Cody's foster parent has this to say: Cody is  12 years young and at 90+ lbs, he’s a lot to love. He enjoys walks, and napping throughout the day. His coat is thick, and requires frequent brushing, he is a mixed breed basset and I suspect he may be part husky. He’s very forgiving with kids, and socializes well with other pets: dogs/chickens/cats (after introductions). He has some work to do on learning how to walk well on a leash, he gets very excited by other dogs, cats, squirrels and sometimes people- and will lunge forward barking, given his size that can be quite a pull. That said he’s very sweet and well tempered around the house, and makes for a great guest. He’s potty trained and has never had an accident in our home.
