Bonded pair abandoned with a sign saying 'Feed Us'

These hounds were found in an alley in Palo Alto, tied together, with a sign around their necks saying "Feed Us".  They were taken to Palo Alto shelter and when we were contacted about them, we had the perfect home waiting for them both.  It is very sad that someone had to give these dogs up and so wonderful that they found a family who was able to take them both!  I hope if their original owner ever sees this entry, they will be relieved that the dogs found such a good home, together.  In these dreadful economic times, there are many abandoned dogs that end up in shelters.  The original owner obviously did not know about GGBR, or they may never have had to go through their ordeal on the streets.
