Lainey, a small 1 year old female basset hound, was surrendered by her original  owner because she had developed some resource guarding of her owner's attention and her food. She got along with some of the dogs in the home but not one in particular. When placed with GGBR she seemed fearful of some other dogs as well as people and sounds. With her present foster parent, who has no other pets, and is a single person, she has started to feel more comfortable around other dogs and strangers. She is very endearing and has won over the heart of her foster parent. 

An adoption contract has been signed and the foster parent is making payments to complete the adoption fee.
