Remington was surrendered by two gentlemen who rescued him from a family that had given him to thier kids as a Christmas present who then became bored with him. Remington stayed with Grant & David for a month but then due to their own health issues they realized they would not be able to care for a puppy and surrendered him to GGBR. They were originally told that the mother was a Basset Hound and the father a Lab, but he resembles a Basset/Plot Hound more than a Basset/Lab.
The veterinarian who has treated Remington, was opposed to neutering him until he was a year old. Thus, Remington has been with his foster to adopt family in foster status until now. He was just recently neutered and the time has come for his adoption to be finalized.
