Velvet is the sister of Paris Hilton and Tangerine.  No bio of her own but she is being adopted Wednesday, September 8. She is one of the 'bookends' in this photo... no idea how to tell Velvet and Paris apart... Tangerine is in the middle!
Paris is a lovely girl, very quiet and plays beautifully with other dogs.  Recommended as a second dog, or multiple dog household, possibly one indoor cat, but must be a very calm cat because she does chase and try to eat cat food.  She also can get extremely stressed if she is alone without another dog, she will try to get out of a fence or gate, and has a touch of submissive urination, so we are working on this issue which very often goes away as they age.  She does not appreciate very large dogs, such as red bone coonhounds, newfis, shepards, etc., in other words, anything that doesn't look to be a basset and is very large.  She will be fine with them in social settings, such as a dog park, but not living with her in the home.  She is convinced she is more basset than boxer, but I do not think she will be a large adult.  I am guessing around 40 lbs full grown.  She has boxer structure with a basset head and face.  No very young children. Possibly kids over seven, but they need to be very, very gentle, dog loving kids who already know the right way to behave around dogs.

She is great with all bassets.  Loves them dearly, plays and grooms them, and I suspect similar and smaller dogs would be fine.

She is crate trained and rides very well in the car.  In excellent health.  Very good with sit, stay, come and go to crate.

Easy to groom, and has a lovely soft, shiny coat!  Loves chewers, treats and bellyrubs~
