Pearl: Chocolate & White Female. It's hard to see in photos, but Pearl has the lightest color eyes of the litter. She is a sweet Chocolate Kiss. She is the 1st at the food bowl! Like her Mama, she loves her treats!
"Lucy", a Beagle/Basset Mix was found wandering the streets very pregnant. Good samaritans attempted to take her to a local animal shelter but were diverted to Golden Empire Basset Rescue when confronted with the shelter's 7day stay then destroy policy for ALL intakes. On Lucy's 7th day in her foster home she delivered 8 healthy puppies.(3Female/5Male). As a tribute to Lucy's Mickey Mouse shaped spot, her Litter's theme name is " Finding Nemo".
