Charlie was an owner surrender to the Stockton shelter because of a family emergency that was causing the family to make frequent trips out of the country.  The shelter staff described Charlie as "super sweet".  Charlie is a real "people dog"--he loves people.  He is good with other dogs, too, but he does love to chase cats.  Charlie travels nicely in the car.  Stay tuned for updated photos and information about Charlie, as we get to know him better.  We're not sure yet, but we think Charlie may be housebroken; we do know that he happily accepts being crated.
