Needs to be rehomed with her best friend, Baci....

Brandi (aged 8 yrs) is also an extremely lovable basset. She is a rescue dog with an abuse history, so she can be skittish with people she doesn’t know, but Baci will often help her to adjust more quickly to someone she doesn’t recognize. She is a very gentle pet and is loyal. She has a deep booming bark and will use it with strangers, but has never been aggressive with anyone. On the contrary, she will often cower if threatened, and needs to be taken care of with gentleness. Having lived with Baci for most of her life, she is quite connected to him, and takes care of him daily by cleaning him and playing with him. Very cute. She is always excited to see people she knows. She never jumps up on anyone, but will lie on your feet hoping to get her belly rubbed. She can have difficulty with dogs that are too aggressive with her, where she will growl or nip at them if they make her feel threatened. By contrast, with dogs that are not overly aggressive, she plays exceedingly well with. In my years of having her, there has only been one incident where she didn’t get along with another dog. She does very well at the dog park. Above all, people like Brandi because she is over the top sweet and very gentle. She’s been a joy to have in my home.
