Brody is an extremely handsome hound with a heart of gold! Brody is perfectly content lounging around the house, but he also thoroughly enjoys his morning and evening walks with “his pack”. He is also on a never ending quest to either have his belly rubbed or jump up on furniture….but if you don’t have time to rub him or he’s not allowed to be on the furniture he understands J. Brody keeps his guard up when he initially meets men, other dogs and children but given a little time to get comfortable he will come around (although his interaction with children needs further exploration). He was unsure about our 2 year old vivacious hound for the first few hours, but they are now the best of friends.

Brody would do best in a home with another dog and/or with a master that is home a lot. He didn’t have any formal training in his previous life, but with some diligent work he can learn the basics since he loves getting treats for a job well done. All in all, Brody would be a WONDERFUL addition to a home where he can get the attention he deserves.
