Oreo is an affectionate  Basset Hound  mix who loves to be with people with a sweet and affectionate nature. She is housebroken with a dog door, has some basic obedience training with commands such as Come and Down. We are working on the sit command! This hound is equally happy to lay around all day or go for long walks with her people. Her leash manners are very good. She also enjoys swimming of all things!

She does have a few issues with guarding furniture and people from other dogs which are being worked on. This girl would work best as an only dog and with older children. She seems to tolerate cats just fine! There are no food guarding issues, which is a huge plus! Oreo also is uncertain about playing, but she seems to be showing interest in some toys. She is comfortable in a crate.

Oreo needs a family who can understand her intelligence, and ability to get out to to roam. She needs a very secure yard!
