Handsome Archie and his sister, Penelope, are a lovely bonded pair, possibly brother and sister, at the Stanislaus County shelter in Modesto. Both are said to be very nice dogs. Archie is a bit more reserved than Penelope, and timid in the shelter environment, but is said to warm up quickly to people offering to give him some gentle attention. Although these two dogs are clearly bonded to each other, they may be available to adopt separately.
