Drax, (who actually goes by "Bob" in his foster home), is a one- year-old, neutered male basset hound who has a sweet disposition. He knows some basic commands like 'sit' and 'lay down' and he is housetrained. He is very gentle when taking treats. He travels well, sleeps in his crate at night, and gets along well with the other dog in the foster home. There is nothing wrong with his voice; it is a loud one, especially when he is playing. Drax is in good health. Being a youngster, Drax is active and loves to play. He would do well in a home with a doggie playmate, who also enjoys rough play. He is, however, content to spend time in his crate with a nice chewer, or stuffed Kong, if he has to be left alone for a few hours. It is unknown how Drax would react to living with a cat.
