Sugar (Sutter)

Sugar (nka Daisy Mae) has an updated photo here for you. She is eating well and has put on 3 pounds and a lot of muscle from her daily early morning and early evening walks with her dog family which consists of her mom and dad and two older male dogs, Bracken Dante and Mr. Cooper whom she loves dearly. A typical day for Daisy Mae is to get mom up for her early morning walk at 7AM. This is a sniffing walk around our neighborhood. Daisy has 2 dog boyfriends, Ben and Rugar, and three dog girlfriends, Lucy & Luna, and little Rosie who live in our neighborhood. Daisy Mae loves to have play dates with some of them when they are available. The highlight of our morning walks is when Rugar gets to come out to see her. This is her favorite boyfriend! They have fallen in love with each other to the point we call Rugar's human mom her mother-in-law. Ha! When Daisy gets home from her morning walk she waits for dad and the boys to wake up, then she and dad give each other what we call 'lovies'. Then Daisy does some zoomies around our wrap around deck, backyard and up and down the couches in our living room. We laugh at how cute she is when she does this. Then she suns herself on our front deck, eats her breakfast and takes a nap. This is her daily routine she likes to stick to. Daisy loves to go to family and community socials/BBQ's on occasion where young children come up to her to say, "hi" and where we allow her to have a hot dog, hamburger or a piece of tri-tip meat which are commonly on the menu. Daisy and I, her mother, have grown very close and she loves and trusts me. I am the main person she checks in with and we sleep close together. She has a loving relationship with her dad as well. Adopting Sugar aka Daisy Mae has filled our hearts with love and joy as she completes our family. We all look forward to having many happy years together! Thank you GGBR for choosing us to adopt Sugar aka Daisy Mae! We will continue to make sure she is well cared for and loved in a way that makes her happy!!--Jon and Melanie, Arnold, CA, 03Sep2024 (Adopted May 28, 2024)
